SOAR will be having their first annual fundraiser event on March 13, 2010, 6:30 – 9:30pm. Please join SOAR for “A Night For Chain-ge.” The event will be held at the beautiful Bryan House Bed and Breakfast in Georgetown, KY. Drinks and Hors-d'oeuvres will be served. Sunday, March 14 @  2-4:30 Explore the devistating effects of Hurricane Katrina on the lives of dogs and dog owners separated during and after the storm.  Learn about disaster preparedness from the Lexington Humane Society.

We will be the featured organization at March’s Paw-er Hour at Buster’s on Tuesday, March 16.  This dog-friendly event will be inside Buster’s from 5-8pm.  It’s a suggested $5 cover charge with all proceeds going to Lexington Humane Society.   People can come in and mingle while their dogs hang out.  All dogs must be licensed and rabies vaccinated and be wearing current license/rabies tags.  If you have any questions please call Alisa Oerther at 233-0044 x 231.
