Take Your Pet to Work Day

Snuggles at Work!
Thank you for all of the wonderful responses as to what people do to celebrate National Take Your Pet to Work Day!
Thank you for all of the wonderful responses as to what people do to celebrate National Take Your Pet to Work Day!
Here is a great story about two miniature Chihuahuas: Wiggles and Wobbles and a Teacup named Snuggles. They all take turns and come to work with their mommy, who is in real estate, EVERYDAY. At lunch time, they take a leisure break and talk a walk. Everyone adores the little ones, takes pictures of them and just loves them. After the long walk, they come back to the office and take a rest in their bed underneath their mommy’s desk.
It is a pleasure for everyone to have little creatures around. The agents in the office love to feed the pups doggie treats. Not to mention, the bosses themselves are dog owners and bring their pup, a thirteen year old toy Poodle, Chase to the office too. All of the dogs play together and everyone in the office has a blast while they work and do business.
Pets, for many years, have been known to provide their owners and those they are around with stress relief. Taking your dog to work is one great way to expose those non-pet owners of the many benefits of pet ownership.
Thanks to Brygida for sending us such a wonderful story and a great example of how pets can provide a positive influence in the workplace!
