PetSmart Brannon Crossing Grand Opening
05/13/2008 PetSmart will host its Grand Opening Ceremony in Brannon Crossing Centre on Saturday July 12, 2008. PetSmart will provide its shoppers and visitors with a series of festivities and giveaways throughout the day.
PetSmart, Inc.; a specialty provider of products, services and solutions for pets, is opening a second store in Lexington/Nicholasville, KY. The Company has identified a group of pet owners that the Company calls pet parents, who are committed to their pets and consider their pets family members. They will host its Grand Opening Ceremony at 310 E. Brannon Road in Brannon Crossing Centre on Saturday July 12, 2008 at 8:30 a.m. and will open their doors to the public at 9:00 a.m. PetSmart will provide its shoppers and visitors with a series of festivities and giveaways throughout the day.
Brannon Crossing Centre is a new 100 acre retail development, located on Highway US 27 and East Brannon Road just one mile south of Man O'War Boulevard, located on the busiest roadway between Lexington and Nicholasville. The vision for this site, which required extensive coordination in all levels of regulatory agencies, was to transform the former BKK landfill site from a negative impact eyesore into a revenue-generating asset for our community.
PetSmart at Brannon Crossing is approximately 20,000 square feet in size and will include a friendly and knowledgeable staff trained in animal care, animal behavior training consultants, grooming services for pets, pet adoption with the local humane society, Banfield the Pet Hospital and a wide variety of pet selections. PetSmart at Brannon Crossing has created approximately 30 to 40 new jobs. They will carry more than 10,000 pet items, including nationally recognized brand names, as well as a selection of private brands across a range of product categories.
