KHC Awards Grant to Clark County 4-H Drill Team
07/07/2008 - By Kentucky Horse Council Lexington, KY, July 7, 2008 – The Clark County 4-H Ponies & Partners Club Drill Team received a $1,300 grant from the Kentucky Horse Council (KHC) to purchase equipment
The club plans to use the funding to buy matching bridles, reins, saddle pads, and costumes for the 10 member team.
“The Horse Council is pleased to support the education of young horse enthusiasts through 4-H programs,” remarked Madelyn Millard, KHC Board President. “4-H is a great tool for young people to learn about horses and the responsibilities of horse ownership.”
